Business cards

Research
Adam Taylor
This business card is a good example of what I want to include on mine because his shows that he's an artist by having a artistic logo or one of his illustrations on the card. This moves away from over business cards which are very simple and don't shout out what the card is for. The texture of the card looks good as well is look more ruff and the text is engraved instead of placed on top.

My ideas.

My first idea i wanted to include a piece of work i had done that had something to do with games, and make the theme dark and epic.

My second idea i wanted to do something similar to the research something simple and bold with a calm colour and a handwritten font.

Portfolio

Inspiration
Navigation side bar, thumbnails.

This style of portfolio shows a good way to present large images and still have a navigation bar filled with information. The navigation bar is a drop down bar and as you click on one of the subjects a bunch of small thumbnails show up and when clicked on they enlarge on the right hand side.

Small thumbnails and Large thumbnails.

This is a slightly different way to show your work by having large thumbnails to show which category is which and then once in the category there is small thumbnails at the bottom which can be scrolled through and then clicked to enlarge the image above the scroller making it easy to look through and a good way to show detail.

Vertical scrolling

This portfolio show a vertical scroller which uses a navigation up and down button on the top right and places the images on the left. This is a very simple design but effective. Having it simple allows the viewers to concentrate on the work more than the layout itself.
